Ingredients
- 500 g cashews
- 500 g almonds
- 1 egg white, well beaten
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (or vanilla)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1½ tbsp za’atar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
- In a large bowl, whisk the egg white until frothy.
- Add apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, and za’atar.
- Add the cashews and almonds, then mix until fully coated.
- Spread the nuts in a single layer on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 20–30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Bake until golden and crunchy.
- Let cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
