Ingredients
- 2 handfuls washed basil leaves
- Peel of 1 lemon
- Juice of Β½ lemon
- 75 g parmesan cheese
- ΒΌ to β cup olive oil
- Salt to taste
- β cup toasted pine nuts or almonds
Directions
- Add basil leaves, lemon peel, lemon juice, parmesan, and toasted pine nuts or almonds to a food processor.
- Pulse until finely combined.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while blending until smooth.
- Season with salt to taste.
- Blend again until creamy and well combined.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator.
