No Bake Date Chocolate Bites

Naturally sweet, no-bake bites made with dates, nuts, and cocoa. A quick, wholesome snack with a hint of citrus.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates, soaked in hot water
  • ½ cup almonds
  • ½ cup pistachios
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest

Directions

  1. Soak the dates in hot water for about 10 minutes, then drain well.
  2. Add dates, almonds, pistachios, cocoa powder, coconut oil, salt, and lemon zest to a food processor.
  3. Blend until the mixture becomes sticky and combined.
  4. Roll into small bite-sized balls or press into a lined tray and slice into squares.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Serve chilled and enjoy!
